Almost directly in front of our front door, the flagship store on Frankfurt's Zeil was remodeled and equipped with many digital touchpoints at the same time. The two large LED walls to the right and left of the entrance are striking.

Insight into the project

For its 5th birthday, our customer 2021 rebuilt the flagship store Frankfurt on the Zeil, where InfraStor was allowed to install some exciting digital highlights. The elongated LED walls to the right and left of the entrance extend over two floors, which is why the statics had to be specially calculated for this installation. Further large format LCD displays as well as touch displays were used on the sales floor. We also installed mini touch displays.

The first step towards real energy management is to know where the energy flows to in the building, how much it consumes and how much it produces. The Loxone energy flow monitor plays a central role here. All data can be displayed in real time in an appealing visualization in the Loxone app. This information provides a clear overview of the building's current energy status and allows targeted optimization measures to be taken.

Rate

By evaluating consumers, it is possible to find ways of reducing the base load, for example by automatically switching off consumers that are not needed. Potential energy leaks are also uncovered. Frequent energy wasters are, for example, air conditioning systems or ventilation systems that run at high levels even when no one is in the building. Reducing the base load leads to immediate cost savings. For example, the permanent consumption of one watt costs around €3 per year. This may sound small, but it quickly adds up in a household or business with numerous appliances. In addition, reducing the base load helps to reduce the carbon footprint and extends the life of the appliances.

With Loxone's unique software , energy consumption can be shifted to times when energy is cheaper or even free - especially if solar energy is available.
