We set up an interactive area for our client Thalia in their Düsseldorf store. The space, consisting of a transparent LED wall, includes a well-equipped social media cube and a special area for podcast recordings with integrated audio and video systems.

Efficiency, comfort and sustainability - these were the goals of our project on the office floors of the Horizon Tower.

We are implementing the intelligent automation of two office floors for our client in order to optimize energy consumption in a targeted manner and offer employees a modern, comfortable working environment. 

From planning to implementation, we are responsible for the complete integration of a Loxone Smart Building system.

In addition, we have developed customized automation logics that are perfectly tailored to the specific requirements of this modern office building. These ensure dynamic lighting, temperature and shading control that automatically adapts to the needs of the users and external factors.

The first step towards real energy management is to know where the energy flows to in the building, how much it consumes and how much it produces. The Loxone energy flow monitor plays a central role here. All data can be displayed in real time in an appealing visualization in the Loxone app. This information provides a clear overview of the building's current energy status and allows targeted optimization measures to be taken.

Rate

By evaluating consumers, it is possible to find ways of reducing the base load, for example by automatically switching off consumers that are not needed. Potential energy leaks are also uncovered. Frequent energy wasters are, for example, air conditioning systems or ventilation systems that run at high levels even when no one is in the building. Reducing the base load leads to immediate cost savings. For example, the permanent consumption of one watt costs around €3 per year. This may sound small, but it quickly adds up in a household or business with numerous appliances. In addition, reducing the base load helps to reduce the carbon footprint and extends the life of the appliances.

With Loxone's unique software , energy consumption can be shifted to times when energy is cheaper or even free - especially if solar energy is available.
