Bucherer flagship store in Frankfurt

In the Bucherer flagship store in Frankfurt, visitors can expect an exclusive selection of luxury watches and fine jewelry on 750 m² - presented in an elegant ambience. We were responsible for implementing the digital elements and installing the Loxone system.

Insight into the project

In the heart of Frankfurt, we were able to be part of a pioneering retail project: the reopening of the Bucherer flagship store. An exclusive shopping experience that combines luxury, design and digital innovation in a special way was created in a spacious 750 m² area.

The new store is not only an architectural highlight - it is also the first location in Germany to implement Bucherer's new design concept, which has already been a hit at selected locations in Switzerland. The dark brass façade with free-floating display cases forms the elegant prelude to an equally stylish interior: American walnut wood, bronze-colored accents and finely tuned lighting concepts create a warm, modern atmosphere in which guests feel comfortable and linger.

Our task was the technical implementation of the digital elements, from conception to planning and installation. The aim was to integrate digital presentation areas harmoniously into the architectural environment and thus create a holistic, brand-strong experience. Particularly noteworthy is the Masterworks area - a visually impressive space in which a large-format LED screen impressively showcases the masterful art of watchmaking. The LED wall was deliberately opened up to create a continuous display case. This solution shows off the watches on display to their best advantage and combines digital staging with high-quality product presentation.

Special attention was paid to the seamless connection between analog luxury and digital staging - for example in the Certified Pre-Owned Lounge area, which enables a modern presentation of high-quality watches with discreet technology.

Efficient resource management

As part of this project, we developed a customized Loxone system for building control planned and installed. This not only enables smart control of the LED installations, but also creates the basis for efficient resource management throughout the store.

The first step towards real energy management is to know where the energy flows to in the building, how much it consumes and how much it produces. The Loxone energy flow monitor plays a central role here. All data can be displayed in real time in an appealing visualization in the Loxone app. This information provides a clear overview of the building's current energy status and allows targeted optimization measures to be taken.

Rate

By evaluating consumers, it is possible to find ways to reduce the base load, for example by automatically switching off consumers that are not needed. Potential energy leaks are also uncovered. Frequent energy wasters are, for example, air conditioning systems or ventilation systems that run at high levels even when no one is in the building. Reducing the base load leads to immediate cost savings. For example, the permanent consumption of one watt costs around €3 per year. This may sound small, but it quickly adds up in a household or business with numerous appliances. In addition, reducing the base load helps to reduce the carbon footprint and extends the life of the appliances.

Act

With Loxone's unique software , energy consumption can be shifted to times when energy is cheaper or even free - especially if solar energy is available.
